Research has shown that music therapy has various positive effects on social behavior and the ability of children with autism to communicate. For example, developing and maintaining contacts, cooperation, dealing with change, concentration and interactive improvement, plus gaining a better understanding of his/her own feelings and those of other people.
At Papageno, we see these fantastic effects every day. To substantiate the knowledge and experience, our coordinator, Mathieu Pater, has recently completed this scientific research into the use of music therapy with children and young people with autism. It will be published soon.
